Take Care

First and foremost I am not Drake fan. A lot of people had some negative things to saw towards this album because he sang more. I heard some people say "this isn't an R&B album." which is true being that Drake lately has capitalized more on his rap but with all these Drake fan i would think that they know he had an interview with MTV where he specifically said he was going to sing more on this album. I'm gathering fans forgot that he actually came to the light singing off his critically acclaimed mixtape "So Far Gone" with songs like "A Night Off" and "Lust For Life". Being a "Drake Hater" I couldn't help but bop to this album. I think he was able to feed the public with hit singles like "Headlines" and "Make Me Proud" featuring Nicki Minaj. But what i want to know is why did he throw away songs like "Dreams Money Could Buy" or songs like "Club Paradise"?

He was still able to go H.A.M. in tracks like "The Motto" featuring Lil Wayne and "Underground Kings" The subliminal message that i got from this album is that Drake has problems coping with fame and is still in love with his stripper ex-girlfriend. For a man better known for his hooks i feel as though the chorus on some of these tracks were poor but he was still able to pull through with his lyrics and content. Production was different compared to his first album, it was a mixture of Rap, R&B and House influenced.  My favorite song would have to be between "Crew Love" featuring The Weekend and "Lord Knows" featuring Rick Ross, but "Look What You've Done" won the top spot only cause i love when artist's reveal their trials and tribulations.

Talk That Talk

The album was well put together, I don't know who writes or comes up with her ideas or songs but she has always stayed contemporary. The album is house influenced and was able to pull through. There are some slow and deep songs here and there for example "Drunk On Love". But the mixture of hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, Dubstep, and electronic is what the times are asking for with the hit single "We Found Love". My favorite song would have to be Cockiness (Love It) which was produced by hit maker Bangladesh who made singles like A Milli for Lil Wayne, Lemonade for Gucci Mane and What's Your Fantasy for Ludacris. Also The-Dream dipped his hands on the production side of this album.

 I gave this album a 4.5 out of 5 just because i'm not really use to this Rihanna but i like it and it won't stop her from staying relevant. I don't think this is the last time we will hear from her. Let the quoting on people's Facebook and/or Twitter begin.
