Why I Love The Rain...

Call me weird but I just love rainy days. I love to wake up when it’s raining. I don't know why, it’s a feel of relief and calm when I wake up and I see a gloom upon my window. The drops tap in a rhythmic beat on towards the air conditioner, still sitting on the sill. I like the dreary scenery like a Tim Burton Film. A rainy day sets the mood for a couple of situations, for instance you can stay in and watch a movie. A lot of people tend to take that route, but they don't see the up sides to it. It can be romantic as well as harsh but you always have to take the good with the bad or bitter with the sweet.
I've been able to experience some wonderful things on rainy days. A nice home cooked dinner next to the window. Just a little open to feel a mist hit the skin as the sun tries to shine thru the all grey covered sky of clouds. Also the combination of the dim lights outside combined with the mood can just set the attraction for a movie. But what takes my breath away is just being able to walk the glistening pavement able to hold a counter part as you protect yourselves under one umbrella. Or even without an umbrella, just letting nature take its course.
I personally think the point of being outside on a rainy day with your better half or just someone who entices you to hold them close and warm them up with your body. Little by little get closer and then be able to touch lips while the rain drops on your forehead.  Holding each other tight has you try to control one another’s shivers.

People underestimate me because I’m such a sneaker fanatic that I can't love the rain. Even thou the rain can disfigure the quality of the sneakers it doesn't damper my spirits. It doesn't taint my mood. It doesn't put a black cloud over my head. It makes me take a glum day and see it in a whole other perspective. I sometimes wonder if I was born on a rainy day and that’s why I like it so much. Who knows? Some people grow very moody with those types of weather conditions.

Its what you make of the situation that counts don't let a little rain stop you!
Rain Rain don't go away

Take Care

First and foremost I am not Drake fan. A lot of people had some negative things to saw towards this album because he sang more. I heard some people say "this isn't an R&B album." which is true being that Drake lately has capitalized more on his rap but with all these Drake fan i would think that they know he had an interview with MTV where he specifically said he was going to sing more on this album. I'm gathering fans forgot that he actually came to the light singing off his critically acclaimed mixtape "So Far Gone" with songs like "A Night Off" and "Lust For Life". Being a "Drake Hater" I couldn't help but bop to this album. I think he was able to feed the public with hit singles like "Headlines" and "Make Me Proud" featuring Nicki Minaj. But what i want to know is why did he throw away songs like "Dreams Money Could Buy" or songs like "Club Paradise"?

He was still able to go H.A.M. in tracks like "The Motto" featuring Lil Wayne and "Underground Kings" The subliminal message that i got from this album is that Drake has problems coping with fame and is still in love with his stripper ex-girlfriend. For a man better known for his hooks i feel as though the chorus on some of these tracks were poor but he was still able to pull through with his lyrics and content. Production was different compared to his first album, it was a mixture of Rap, R&B and House influenced.  My favorite song would have to be between "Crew Love" featuring The Weekend and "Lord Knows" featuring Rick Ross, but "Look What You've Done" won the top spot only cause i love when artist's reveal their trials and tribulations.
I give this album 4 out of 5.

1.21 Gigawatts: Back To The First Time

It has been awhile since we heard from the rapper Ludacris, probably taking time for his acting career but he is back like he never left with a new mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts influenced by the movie Back To The Future. He also came back with a vengeance and wants blood. With the song Bada Boom produced by Wonder, sampling the Fifth Element (I think Luda is a movie buff with all of these movie references and a past album named Theater of The Mind) In this track Luda takes shots at Drake and Big Sean because of their alegations that Ludacris stoled their flow which Big Sean's fans call the "Supa Dupa Flow" and all the while Luda calls it the "Stop and Pause Flow. In an interview a year ago they asked Big Sean who used the flow the best recently and named the song Forever and said Drake's bar "Swimming in the money come and find me, Nemo" and then when asked who used it the worse said Ludacris in the song My Bitch Bad referring to the bar "Coming down the streets like a parade, Macy's"
Overall with that beef I would give this mixtape a 4 due to the poor chorus he had on some songs for example "Say It To My Face"but you can't ever neglect Ludacris talent he still has it ever since "Phat Rabbit" on the colaboration with Timbaland. This is worth the download. The battle between my favorite track would be between the Intro and I'm On Fire featuring Big K.R.I.T.
